Panasonic use Cobalt Li-ion technology which benefits from lower internal resistance (electrical loss ) than Manganese lithium and therefore gives a greater output than most alternative lithium ion products on the market.

Cobalt Lithium cells are less prone than Manganese Lithium alternatives to increases in running temerature, helping to prevent a shortening of service life due to overheating backed up by discharge protection.
